Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival
The high-level event "Next generation bioeconomy policies - Achieving the green and fair transition through competitive sustainability" will give voice to youth and changemakers on how to move towards a sustainable and circular bioeconomy. In addition, the event will help the European Commission to gather views on an update of the Bioeconomy Stragety and Action Plan.
On 13 March, 14:15 - 15:35 - Katrin Jogi, Sustainability manager, Fibenol, will talk about the CBE JU's role in supporting young changemakers in bioeconomy at the session Supporting young changemakers to develop and scale solutions. Elisa Jääskeläinen, EUCYS 2023 bioeconomy prize winner, will join this session as well.
On 14 March, 11:15 -12:25 - Virginia Puzzolo, CBE JU Head of Programme Unit, will chair the break-out session Biomanufacturing & biotechnology as a driver for solutions.

The event takes place at the Thon Hotel City Centre, Brussels, and it is part of the Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival, which consists in more than 30 satellite events organised across the EU.
